I think it's safe to say that the movie "Mama Mia" changed the way many women in their middle years look at themselves. When you see Meryl Streep and her compatriots jumping around, singing and dancing, there's a part you that says, "Heck, if she can do it, maybe I can, too."
I know that was the case for my younger sister. She saw the movie at least a dozen times, each time bringing a different group of friends and co-workers to enjoy the experience. She sang along. She bought the DVD, and she bought the CDs, too. Like a drug, the movie can be addicting. But "Mama Mia" makes you feel better without a prescription.
This feel-good movie features the songs of ABBA, a Swedish pop group
popular in the 70s, a time when many of us were in our teens. Tangie Baxter CT's blog challenge this week is to use an ABBA song as a theme for a piece of art or a scrapbook layout. I chose to do an ATC using "Man in the Middle" as my theme.
