Eleven Alcorn/Allcorn families in eight Kentucky counties appear on the 1810 census. In reviewing the records, we learn the name of head of household; the number of free white males and females in age categories: 0 to 10, 10 to 16, 16 to 26, 26 to 45, 45 and older; the number of other free persons except Indians; and the number of slaves. In 1810, the only slaveholder among the Alcorn families was James Alcorn of Mason County.
I've included a possible date range for each age category to aid in your genealogy efforts.
